Origen Altitude Gin was born from a deep desire to change my life.
During one of my trips to the Sierra Aitana in Spain, I discovered at an altitude of about 600 meters an abundance of beautiful yellow-orange Immortelle flowers and their captivating almost magnetising scent filling the atmosphere all around.
The flower also called "helichrysum" in Latin grows across the Mediterranean hills and is widely known for its anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal, and antibacterial properties.
Immortelle essential oil for example contains an anti-inflammatory substance called arzanol, which plays a part in healing wounds.
I was at the time actively trying to reinvent my life, taking distance and altitude from my daily worries, seeking for inspiration and restore, healing my wounds and elevating my consciousness of all the beautiful things life has to offer in such pristine nature.
There could have been no better inspiration to capture that spiritual thought and the fragrance of the Immortelle into a premium gin formulation that you will love to enjoy with moderation as much as I do.

But tonics tend to dominate and even suffocate the original gin flavour leaving it to a more basic role of "servant in the mix".
